The tough life of an ambassador

TGIF Everyone, (Thank God it's Friday)
Today was an interesting day for me with an early start at 6:05 a.m. I quickly got ready and was bundled into a car set for Terry Hills. From there I had to head to the CPA's head office for a photo shoot. Since my dad works at North Ryde, my mum thought it would be easier for my dad to drop me off at the shoot while she helped the girls get ready for school. Everything went smoothly until Dad got out the Ipod and started playing Owen Diviney! I got there at 8:00 but it didn't start until 9:30. I filled my 90 minutes of spare time by playing with dogs, talking to people and trying to get somewhere on my 767 page book which is full of the complete Mary Poppins series but alas it wasn't meant to be. The reason i had the shoot in the first place is because I'm an ambassador for the CP challenge. What you do is you use a pedometer to calculate the certain number of steps you take each day and you enter them online which then helps you to complete a climb of a virtual mountain peak. The shoot was fun overall, although a little awkward when you have to pretend people you've just met are friends & family that you've known all your life. More on the challenge coming soon.
That's it for now
Hannah

  1. Mickey and all you amazing members of MickRooCrew, I know how tough these next 2 days must seem to you but if you needed inspiration then Hannah's blog must surely supply it. After all for you no matter how enormous the endeavour has been - and believe me we all have at least some idea of that - it is after all just 2 weeks of your lives. For Hannah it is all her life and she never gives in and never will - and I know you won't either.
After all it's only a mere 600 miles with just a few small hills!!! can't see that stopping you.
You cannot even begin to imagine how proud we all are of all of you - it's just the most amazing effort and while Mickey is doing all the pedalling he would never have got this far without his incredible team and you should all be bloody proud of yourselves - as we are.
I know you are all digging really deep now to finish this amazing endeavour and I have complete faith that you will achieve your goal. So Good Luck for the last huge haul and may Hannah's spirit see you across the line.
All any of us can do back here is will our spirit and best wishes to be with you - and believe me we're all doing that.
Hope those silly Appulacians (?spelling) shrink before you Marg
